Natural Currents Energy Services designs, manufactures, and installs hydro and wind turbines.

As of 2010, Natural Currents is in contract to install a renewable energy park on the south shore of Wards Island in and along the Hell Gate waterway.  The project has received $990,000 in funding from the US Dept. of Energy.  Natural Currents is the primary contractor and will manage the installation of four 25 kW tidal energy turbines, one 100 kW wind turbine, and one 5 kW photovoltaic array.[1]
