This recycling facility was originally operated by the Hugo Neu Corp. In 2005, Hugo Neu merged with the Australian based Sims Group to form one of the largest recycling companies in the world. In 2007 Hugo Neu the sold majority of their 26% stake in the merged company and what was Sims Hugo Neu reverted to its previous name, the Sims Group.
