Van Cortlandt Park

There is an olympic sized public outdoor pool in Van Cortlandt Park. Entry is free but it is usually crowded so you may have to wait on line.  The crowd is well-behaved and there’s lots of room to practice your swimming techniques. Some of the best parts features of the pool include the numerous lockers and lifeguards. There are also sprinklers for Toddlers.  The pool is open from  11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven days a week
