On September 4th, 2008 Riverkeeper and New York City Councilman Eric Goia announced their intention to sue NYCON Supply Corp. for dumping concrete waste into Newtown Creek in violation of both the Clean Water Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.[1]
