Mission: News-Times is a daily newspaper in Danbury covering local news, sports, business,
jobs, and community events. The newspaper is published seven days a week and covers greater Danbury, Brookfield, Bethel, Ridgefield, Roxbury, New Milford and Kent, Connecticut; and Brewster, New York. The Ottaway Community Newspapers chain bought the newspaper in 1955, then sold it to Community Newspaper Holdings in 2006. On April 1, 2007, Hearst Corporation bought the News-Times for $75 million.
