Mission: To promote personal and social wellness through educational, recreational and social programs. To give children, youth, and families the life-building skills necessary for a healthy and productive future.
The Teen Futures program provides middle and high school youth the opportunity to develop their interests and learn new skills as part of a close-knit, caring community.
-Job Club: teaches the value and importance of work through Job Readiness Training, resume writing, and career exploration.
-College Club: exposes teens to opportunities available after high school through field trips, presentations and discussions with role models.
- Homework Pays!": teens receive $1 for each hour of supervised homework, computer and internet access, and tutoring.
-Healthy Choices: teens plan and prepare healthy meals together in the "Kids' Café," athletic pursuits (basketball, tennis, and yoga).
- Mind the Music: teens gather four nights a week to share a meal while listening to popular music and practicing techniques for relaxation, sound and body awareness, and goal development.
Teen Futures offers a free tutoring program for youth ages 11-18. Six hours on weekdays during the weekdays.
Summer Activities: Youth ages 11-18 get real-world work experience and earn cash working at the Kids' Lemonade Stand on Church Street. Teens also spend time at Adventure Camp. Roxanne Leopold Scholarship Fund: awards $10,000 annually to exceptional students that need and deserve support the most.
