Mission:  The Portland Museum of Art strives to enrich the lives of people through acquisition, preservation, and interpretation of the visual arts and the Museum's architecturally significant buildings.

For youth:

Professional development workshops for k-12 teachers; curriculum books and poster sets for classroom use; online resources for both teachers and students. Also presents movies.

Hosts lectures and talks.
