4-H is a learning-by-doing program for kids. It serves more than 20,000 Maine youth throughout the state. 4-H runs three Camps and Learning Centers in Maine Blueberry Cove in Tennants Harbor, Bryant Pond in Bryant Pond, ME and Tanglewood. For youth 8-14.
The Youth Community Action program focuses on citizenship and leadership skill development through serving local communities.
-Science, Engineering, & Technology Program provides opportunities for youth to participate in animal science, robotics, environmental science, energy, GIS/GPS, and digital media projects.
-In Healthy Lifestyle, kids learn about growing food, nutrition, and the basics of food safety.
- The Entrepreneurship Program includes a Money Camp where youth learn how to secure resources to make a successful business from their creative ideas.
In 4-H Earth Connections, youth learn about sustainable living.
