To develop dancers artistically and technically through professional performances opportunities and to offer quality performances and presentations what will increase our community’s enjoyment, education and understanding of dance.


Runs the SCB Apprentices and Jr. Company, a group of highly motivated, serious pre-professional dance students of intermediate to advanced level.  Members must have at least four years ballet training and maintain at least a B average in school.  They have an opportunity to participate in SCB’s major performance, sharing the stage with the SCB’s professional company and visiting guest artists.

Identified by youth as having volunteer or intern opportunities; also provides youth apprentice program and Jr. Company.
