The City of Fall River provides a number of programs that support youth development and education.
- Mayor’s Youth Forum identifies problems and issues faced by youth, and ways they can become involved in addressing those issues to build healthier, safer, and more productive communities and schools.
- The Community Learning Center (CLC) helps adults develop their literacy, math and life skills through free classes in Adult Ed., GED Exam Prep and English for speakers of other languages. Also provides after school child care, a homework club, and recreational activities for children such as tennis, arts and crafts, urban dance, cheerleading, self defense and theater.
- YOUth Zone is a youth-friendly website that provides information on education and employment options.
It also houses many departments and commission in whose work youth could be involved.
