The mission of the Academy for International Studies is to enable students to become socially responsible global citizens who use technology to access the world. Students value that global citizenship begins with responsible citizenship in one’s own world. Enrollment is through lottery.

Grades K-5. Builds on the district curriculum through emphasis on International Studies and World Languages as a means of facilitating critical thinking and broadening mastery of the district curriculum. Spanish, one of the leading languages in the world, is the initial World Language taught, beginning in kindergarten.
