Provides summer youth employment program. Through the Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board and Workforce Connection, the City of Danbury’s Summer Youth Employment Program places students in positions at local non-profit agencies. Participants work 20 hours a week for 6 weeks.

Also runs numerous departments that could be rich learning venues for youth: engineering, public works, elderly services, information technology, cultural commission and several more.
