Floyd Bennett Gardens Association, Inc. under a Memorandum Of Understanding with The Department of Interior, National Park Service of Gateway National Recreation Park, Jamaica Bay Unit

The Nature Walk/Wildlife Habitat was created on less than 2 acres of land.  Leased to the Floyd Bennett Gardens Association, Inc., under an MOU with the National Park Service designed and coordinated by community gardener and Newsletter Editor Jill Weingarten under the administration of President Adriann Musson.  The 6 year mission—create an environment which includes trees for shade, benches to sit, paths to walk, habitats to observe and enjoy wildlife. With native, meadow and woodland species planted the space allows people an opportunity to work with nature.
