Mission:  To provide low-cost educational and recreational opportunities to the children and youth in the Waterville area.

Open to youth from Skowhegan.

Afterschool programs, sports and activities such as martial arts classes, dance classes, swim classes, drama and fitness center for many age groups. Runs summer sports camps for kids up to age 12 that may welcome youth volunteers. Financial assistance available for youth memberships.

Alfond Youth Center is a joint program of the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club. It also operates the South End Teen Center on Libby St., which offers structured afterschool activities.

Though Waterville is a bit distant, a Skowhegan student suggested the agency as a learning resource.
