The park is now completed but still has no name. This is one of the few public access points to Newtown Creek. The park has created a unique opportunity for the surrounding communities to reconnect with New York City's maritime history, enjoy recreational water activities, or simply sit and watch the sunset behind Manhattan.  The park has a ramp which can be used to launch small craft into Newtown Creek.
