Back by popular demand for its 2nd year with incredible support from this tight-knit community and Councilman Vincent Gentile (who calls the market “Bay Ridge’s town hall,”) the Bay Ridge Greenmarket is where long-time residents and new families meet to shop, share recipes and meet their neighbors. Councilman Gentile makes an appearance every Saturday to talk to his constituents and do his shopping. On hand is a great selection of producers providing everything from water buffalo cheese (including fresh mozzarella!), yogurts, and meats, American Seafood’s fresh fish, baked goods from Bread Alone Bakery, and a bounty of seasonal fruit, vegetables and flowers from Caral Farm and Alex’s Farm.
