Witnesses said they saw two men run from a room on the third floor of the motel around 6:30 p.m, at about the same time the explosion occurred at the motel.  The Osceola County Sheriff's office then found two men near the motel and took them in to custody. One man was treated for burns described as minor. He was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. The second man was taken to  Osceola Regional Medical Center and then Shands Hospital with second- and third-degree burns. Police are still searching for a woman, who they described as a "person of interest" in this case.

Osceola County Investigative Bureau agents dismantled the lab at the motel. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the sheriff's office (407-348-2222) or Crimeline (800-423-8477).
